Get Started With the UK Visa Application Portal
Step 1: Go to the official UK Government visa application website: https://www.gov.uk/apply-uk-visa

Step 4: Accurately Fill out the online application form with your details. Double-check names, spellings, passport numbers, and dates to avoid errors.

Step 6: Pay your visa application fee. This fee may vary depending on the type and duration of visa you applied for and it is also subject to change. So, always confirm the accurate amount form the official UK government visa website before making payment.

Booking Your Appointment at VFS Global
Once payment is complete, you will be redirected to VFS Global to:
- Book a biometric appointment date end location and also submit some required documents.
- Choose a location (Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt) for your biometrics.
Don’t forget, you must bring your passport, printed appointment confirmation, and all original documents.

Attend Your Biometric Appointment
After successfully getting an appointment date, make sure you go for your biometrics on that day. Your picture will be taken, with your fingerprints and you will be required to submit some documents needed to process your visa.

After your biometrics appointment, your documents will be forwarded to UKVI for processing.
